The primary benefit of an IBC System installation is its ability to be washed and dried without disrupting production. ISL can customize a Washing and Drying System based on the stored powders. - Sealed Engagement: As the IBC is lowered, its outlet engages with the station’s top liner, and the Cone Valve aligns with the central probe, forming a dust-tight environmental seal between the IBC and the process line.
- Controlled Discharge: The Cone Valve opens in a controlled manner, allowing precise dosing of powders. The rate & position transducer adjusts the valve aperture to maintain either fixed positions or continuous flow rates.
- Zero Exposure : Even when the IBC is lifted off the station, the outlet remains sealed until the valve re-seats—ensuring no airborne contamination or product leakage.
- Loss-in-Weight Dosing: Optional load cells allow real-time weight monitoring for accurate batch dosing or continuous feeding.
- Frame Vibrators: Optional vibrators assist in discharging difficult-to-flow powders, ensuring complete emptying of the IBC.
- Programmable Lift Height: Enables integration with weighing and batching systems, enhancing automation and precision.
- Minimal Components: Fewer parts mean lower maintenance, fewer spares, and faster cleaning.
- Cleaning Options:
- COP (Clean Off Place): Quick dismantling for manual cleaning.
- CIP (Clean In Place): Replace IBC with a Station Wash Bin featuring an integral spray ball for automated cleaning.
